Why Mandy Left Criminal Minds

I saw a clip of an interview with Mandy Patinkin.
In that interview he said that he left because he didn't like the direction that the show was taking, i.e., less about psychological profiling and more about depicting violence.
I agree with him and have stopped watching the show.
He is an outstanding, multi talented performer -- who obviously has principles and is willing to stand by them.
