Even though the series has been off the air for 25 years, it achieves today what all other tv shows today cannot. A superbly written and produced action adventure that keeps me glued to my seat for the hour it is on without resorting to the cheap and gratuitous profanity, nudity or the sexual orientation of others. I am amazed that the writers of this show did such a great job that in 2008, with all the available science and technology, this show stimulates the intellectual without subjecting me to the ridiculus stupidity that saturates virtually every show on the air today. It is a shame that entertainment today can't or won't learn from the past.
