Don't get me wrong. I love this show.However, I believe that the judges have their priorities in the wrong place from time to time. I just finished watching the last episode in which Michael was told to pack his knives. Marcel should have been sent home. He served a dish that was a HEALTH RISK! And in real life it wouldn't have mattered if every thing else on his menu was absolutely delightful, serving undercooked chicken would have ruined deterred people from returning. The judges chief complaint about Michael tonight was that he didn't buy bowls for the olive pits. How can that even begin to be worse than serving a dish that contains something that can cause someone to be deathly ill? Sure Marcel's tempura may have been great but in my opinion that doesn't make up for putting people at risk. If I were a judge, Marcel would have gone home. I don't think many would argue with that. Except the judges of course. The more I watch the more I see the inconsistencies on the way the judges judge. They send people home based on the looks of the dish, the consistency. Well, they should realize that the people who are going to be eating this food prefer for the food to taste good. You have a food that tastes awesome, who cares what it looks like. Heaven help them if a Cajun ever gets on the show. Cajun food doesn't always look appealing but it has incredible flavor and always tastes good.
