More often hit and miss
2 stars
Ok, John Stossel sometimes comes across a great story but just as often seems a voice for big business and industry (I wonder how much he makes from that source, in charitable contributions of coarse). In his show healthcare in America where his co - host is obviously absent, the theme of the show is that out of control medical cost are just fine, people don’t need to see doctors as often as they do, or that employer sponsored healthcare is not needed or wanted. I wonder who provides health coverage for Mr. Stossel and his family or does he pay for it out of his own pocket as he proposes for people that make 300% less money? Or the thing to attack to catch a predator, why oh why would someone attack a way to catch a pedophile? Granted sometimes his stories are heartfelt and interesting, but other times, it midis well be a PR representative from what ever industry you choose speaking. It ceases to become relevant news and more an editorial. Back in the Era of Communism and the former USSR, they had a saying. The news is not always the truth, and the truth is not always the news. Though it’s sad to say I think the same applies to 20/20 at the moment. So while they have some good reporting and vibrant subjects from time to time I am afraid for the stories that have been run for the last few years it’s become something to be taken with a grain of salt. Is there such a thing as unbiased truthful journalism anymore? I sure for one hope that its not become a thing of the past, I don’t want a liberal view, or a conservative view, I just want the news and then be able to draw my own conclusions from there. Well, that’s my 2 cents. Thank you :)
