watching reruns

I watched OC when it was on the first time until Marissa died and then I lost interest. It comes on SoapNet now and I'm watching thru it again. The first season was the best. There was plenty of drama, but the characters were more believable then than in the last two seasons.
The show is not typical of real life, not even in a place like OC. All of the exes end up being friends...like Zack and Seth, Marissa and Teresa, ....that just doesn't happen. The drama is too much sometimes, like Lindsey being Caleb's daughter and when Ryan's brother came back.
Sandy and Kristen do not fit in their setting and this makes it interesting. They are the couple who keep it all together.
Love the idea of Chrismakka (however itis spelled). And the fact that the Cohens made Ryan a part of their family.
I was happy with the way it ended, except t that Marissa should have still been on.

just for fun

I love this show. Overall the story lines are unbelievable, like Joy stealing the truck. However we all know people who have certain traits that the characters have. I watch it to escape reality and to have a good laugh. There is already enough drama in the world so it is nice to be able to laugh at non sense. The actors do a great job of portraying the characters.
My favorite show was the one where they were preparing for Y2K. It brought back memories of how people began to panic and nothing happened.

AI copy cat

The results show was too much a copy cat of American Idol. We heard a recap of judges comments, then when it got to the final two they stood on the stage together and we were told we would find out after the break who was leaving. It took one hour what could have been done in 15 minutes or less. Could they not have been more creative?
I wanted to like this show and I do like watching the movies, but I can't stand the hostess. She doesn't seem to fit this type of show at all. I would also like to have been told what the assignment is for next week.
