The unfortunate thing about this show is I could see my mom wanting me to dance with her, too. This is truly disturbing and just about par for the course. What is next? I don't even wanna know!

This show is really funny because it is so over the top but there are some touches of reality. The fact that Molly Shannon's character is a well-meaning single mom that has raised a self-absorbed, shallow daughter is unfortunately all too common in today's kid-first culture. It could also have a positive effect as a public service announcement: Wake up, dummy! The world actually does not revolve around you!
