I LOVE this show. I was intrigued from the beginning. I enjoy this genre and was glad to see a major network sink its teeth into a vampire show. This show does have a contemporary feel to it, which I like. It does change the vampire rules and I am glad the writers are mixing it up and not staying with the classic ideals. I have read many posts where people were bashing Moonlight before it even premiered. All I have to say is...People give Mick a chance; he'll draw you in. The show is edgy, the characters are complex and the writing is not run of the mill. Don't just write this show off as an Angel or Buffy knock off. The cast is filled with talent. Alex O'Loughlin is a fine actor and he makes Mick both humanly vulnerable and immortally strong. Sophia Myles adds to the mix as the head strong heroine, Beth. There is definate chemistry between the two. Jason Dohring brings cockiness in as Josef, Mick's vampire friend and confidante. Moonlight is worth watching. Give it a chance!!
