Social Commentary with a Kick

5 stars
Genius. South Park has provided comic relief for todays problems for ten gut wrenching years. Story lines often seem to be plucked from the days headlines. Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Eric provide the laughs and social commentary, which echo true common sense. South Park is a counter move to the politically correct world in which we live. South Park is animation for adults plain and simple, and I hope to see the boys of South Park learn lessons and provide their unique brand of insight for many years to come.

We Barely Knew You

5 stars
For those of us lucky enough to have seen Firefly when it originally aired nothing I say will be a surprise. Firefly was a SciFi Western on the surface, but underneath it was the story of humanity which is truly timeless. It is the story of a rag tag family struggling to make it in a world and or worlds which have gone mad. Fans for firefly browncoats seem to resemble trekkies in their devotion to the show, writers, actors, and its creator Joss Whedon. Fan enthusiasm has since spawned a major motion picture Serenity which picks up where the show left off, and many other extensions like a role playing game, novels, and excellent podcasts like the signal . So if you are looking for something fun prepare to get hooked and join the browncoats. Shiny...

Good Carry Over

4 stars
I believe Atlantis came into existence at the right time. SG1 had done it's job at laying the ground work, for a different story line. Atlantis often is weaved into SG1 and vice versa, which in essence creates one big Stargate show. I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys witty drama, interesting plot twists, and the realm of science fiction.

SciFi Hall of Fame

5 stars
Stargate has been an amazing story, starting with a interesting movie and rolling into a scifi action drama which has now stood for a decade. It's success can be attributed to great writing, fun special effects, and deeply layered characters. Stargate captivates me by mixing in science, theoretical physics, religion, history, and the occasional off the wall surprise. If you are looking for a a well rounded scifi spectacular SG1 might just be for you.

Slow Start, but we are Really Moving Now

5 stars
The 4400 started a little slow for me, but some how they got me hooked. The diverse characters and complimenting story lines have created a tantalizing drama. The twists are intense and have indeed caught me off guard. I look forward to the next installment in the series, and truly hope the writers will continue to throw a couple curve balls our way.

I can't help it, I love this show

5 stars
I have enjoyed the Superman story in every form. Motion pictures, animation, comic books, etc. Smallville tells an aspect of the superman story which is new. The transition from the boy, to the man, to the hero we all know. Personally I enjoy this show more than I liked the 2006 motion picture. The stars of the show do justice to the iconic figures which came before them. I hope this show will continue to fill in the blanks of the Superman saga.

Thrilling

5 stars
A truly excellent lesson in history. Rome sheds light on the Roman Empire and the facets of Roman life. Roman civilization might have been one of the greatest influences on modern western culture and the show does it justice. This is a thrilling drama, ripped from the pages of history, and the pen of imaginative writers.

Very Important Show

5 stars
Sleeper Cell takes us inside the mind of the Muslim extremists. We all hear of extremist activities everyday, but to see it first hand gives us a special insight. This show keeps a lot of the political bickering on the side lines instead showing the struggles of the characters and the personal battles they face. I think this is an important show, that should be seen by all.

Give me a Break

4 stars
I am hooked by John Stossels common sense and libertarian ideas. In this day and age it is hard to find unbiased reporting, but Stossel tends to hold everyone up to the same standard. One thing I would like to see is more of the Give me a Break segments.

A No Spin Review

5 stars
It could be the fact that I consider myself a traditionalist, but I find I tend to agree with O'Reilly on most things. His no nonsense approach is refreshing, but honestly it is just nice to see someone step outside of the liberal media box. Bill can be harsh and a tad arrogant but... so can I. Bill is fair in his interviewing style, but will always inject the common sense national debates lack.
