I have been a fan of Japanese game shows for many years as in our area (northern NJ) we would be able to get a japanese station over the air. I would crack up watching some of the stunts the contestants would try to pull off.
Years later, SpikeTV started airing MXC....then ESPN2...now G4 (which i love!!!!!!)....now we get ABC's new reality show that sends a handful of americans to complete in Japan in order to win $$$.

I hope the participants are on real Japanese shows and not just made for the American audience.
hopefully these will start the flux of true Japanese game shows to be aired on American tv....many Americans do not know what real fun reality shows are!!

I can not believe that another oversea show is making it way onto U.S. tv...but it is worse! I have been watching the original show on YouTube for years! In Japan they called it Human Tetris.

I doubt this will last for after a few weeks on the air. ABC is failing with Wipeout, which is a horrible ripoff Japan's SASUKE (or as many here in the U.S. know it by G4's Ninja Warrior).

before the NETWORKS realized that they can rip off another concept from another country...this being the case, this wipeout show is a rip off Japanese shows that have been aired on Spike TV, G4, and even ESPN2!!

Even though i want to see stupid people bust their faces, I hope this show fails in the ratings!!
All the networks should just air the original Japanese shows with subtitles....
