Save Me
Series Premiere: First of all, kudos to NBC for casting Anne Heche in the role she was born to play… a kooky New Age nutcase. Heche stars as Beth Harper, a disenchanted Midwestern wife who has an epiphany after a near-death experience and now believes she's receiving celestial messages straight from God. (Okayyy….) Her husband (Michael Landes) and daughter (Madison Davenport) aren't quite ready to accept her new role as unlikely prophet, though.

Hell's Kitchen
"MasterChef" may have started its summer run, but Gordon Ramsay is still pulling double-duty over on "Hell's Kitchen," where eight chefs remain in the hunt for a head chef position at Ramsay's Vegas restaurant. Tonight, the chefs get assigned an international cuisine to tackle, whipping up an ethnic dish using only a few ingredients. Then one team stumbles out of the gate during dinner service, falling behind before the guests even arrive.

Rookie Blue
Season Premiere: ABC's summer cop series is back on duty for a fourth season, with Missy Peregrym back as rookie officer Andy McNally. (Although we're three years into this now; isn't it a little weird to still be calling them "rookies"?) Tonight's premiere finds Andy and Nick wrapping up their undercover assignment and returning to 15 Precinct. But the other cops have changed while they were away, including Sam, who's now a detective… and has moved on from Andy.

Does Someone Have to Go?
Series Premiere: "The Office" is now off the air, but Fox is looking to fill the workplace void with this new reality series, which puts a company's employees in the boss's chair. The staff of a credit-card processing company is handed the reins on tonight's premiere, learning the salaries of their fellow co-workers and deciding whether any weak links should get the axe. (Hence, the title.)

Hannibal
We have a sick fascination for NBC's gorgeously gory procedural; fans of "The Following" should give Will Graham a chance. Starting tonight, in fact, as the haunted profiler helps the FBI track down a serial killer who's created a totem pole out of his victims' bodies. Plus, Will's therapy sessions with Dr. Hannibal Lecter continue, as the doc counsels him to keep a few things secret. Something Hannibal knows all about, of course.

Anger Management
Thanks a lot, Dad: Martin takes it upon himself to sabotage Charlie's relationship with Kate tonight by informing Kate that Charlie is getting back together with his ex-wife Jennifer. Not exactly true, of course, but Kate doesn't know that. Isn't there a better way to spend your free time, Martin? Like, a "West Wing" reunion or something?
