Spouse of a Contestant Speaks Out

Hey all, I am the spouse of one of the contestants.
Pretty harsh criticisms from some of you folks, but I understand that. The concept can look goofy, and comparing idealized superheros to real people will always result in a pretty stark contrast between reality and fantasy. Besides, you have a right to speak your mind - and this is a good place to do that. Just try and keep in mind that these are real people, and they may well be reading your comments.
However, I will say that from what I know about this season, it's really going to be very entertaining. I think the would-be heroes will come much closer to your expectations than you might initially think they will.
Nor is it embarrassing to the contestants. This is a light hearted, fun, family-oriented, and entertaining show - not one of those "let's see how stupid we can make real people look on television" type shows.
So if you are considering it - give it a try on Thursday night. I think you will be happily surprised at how good, and entertaining, this season will be.

it is a great show for the whole family filled with fun,imagination,adventure and those childhood dreams of a yourself as a super hero, everyone should watch this

I Loved the first season. A guiltly pleasure you can say. But this year's prob. gonna be just a little bit worse but harder challenges which will be fun to watch the More in need of some exercise instead of being a superhero (you know who I'm pointing fingers at) try to do them. I am looking forward to watching this year's show but sadly, I dont think its gonna be as good as last year.

I am the mother of one of the contestants. I personally want to thank you for creating this opportunity as a "new" gateway for young actors into the movie industry. Personally, I think the show is awesome. My daughter is persistent, very talented (and very tall). I'm proud of the efforts put forth in this production. DJ Gocha.

i really like all the superheros. it is really cool maybe i would like to watch it thursday night at 10:00 pm. the show really rocks my world. maybe one of my parents would watch me see the show.
