Grace debates whether she should continue on with a married man. Jack starts his talk show. Will tries to hide the fact that Stan is still alive from Karen.
Will feels it's his burden to help Karen through the apparent trauma of knowing that Stan is still alive. After Jack is left without a guest, he makes Grace, there to do some decorating, fill the position. Some purposeful editing on Jack's part makes Grace seem to say that she doesn't like gay men.
Jack takes it upon himself to teach Will how to swim when he learns that Will doesn't know how. Karen sets Grace up on a blind double date with her and Malcolm.
Jack lets Karen know he believes that she's a better fit with Stan than Malcolm even as Malcolm tries to win him over to his side. Grace arranges a 10th Anniversary for game night, but Will brings his new older friend Clyde.
Jack attends Will's charity with a grown up man known for being the baby trapped in a hole and still goes by the name Baby Glenn. Malcolm learns from Grace that Karen has hooked back up with Stan.
Will and Grace come across Leo on a flight to London. Jack tries to bring Karen and Rosario back together, but her new maid stands in the way.
When Jack decides to move, Will contemplates life without him next door. Grace has a wardrobe problem while in attendance at Beverly's wife's memorial.
Grace gets help from Jack when he joins Grace and her mother for lunch. Will starts his job at a non-profit firm and his first case is to take down Karen.
Grace starts making time with Will's brother Sam while the group spends Christmas at Will's mother Marilyn's house in Connecticut. Jack is amused by Will's "gay" nephew.
Grace gets overly excited about attending a Sound of Music sing-along with Will.
Karen hosts her birthday party, but spends most of it in the bathroom with Will and Grace. Will is upset when Matt Lauer doesn't like his shrimp.
Jack wonders what's in a forbidden room when Karen takes care of him at the mansion during an illness. Jack eventually learns that it was a room Karen had made into a nursery when she thought she was pregnant. Grace decides to do charity work, but changes her mind when Will's old boss offers her a job. While there, she eventually learns that Will has been back at his old corporate job for a while.
Will and Grace go out to eat with Rob and Ellen and their waiter turns out to be Will's ex Vince. Jack gets a piece of fan mail from a closeted gay and decides to go to Ohio to help him come out, but he turns out to be older than expected.
Will, Karen and Grace travel to Los Angeles to support Jack as he accepts an award for Best Local Cable Guy Talk Show Host.
The gang joins Elliot to look at UCLA. While in Los Angeles, Will hooks up with James from the Sound of Music sing-a-long. Grace volunteers to marry James for his green card.
Everyone gathers for Grace's green card wedding to James, including Grace's mother. Grace faints during the ceremony and later finds out that she's pregnant.
Grace is hit with an unexpected piece of information after deciding to tell Leo about the baby they are expecting. Will and James up their relationship. Meanwhile, Karen pouts over Will, Grace and Jack's newfound happiness, while Jack decides to use Grace's pregnancy as an ongoing talk show segment.
Jack decides to introduce Will to his new boyfriend, convincing Will to accompany him to a western-themed bar in the process.
Jack's talk show gets a makeover when the network is usurped by a conglomerate and he is forced to co-host the show and adopt a conservative viewpoint.
After losing his job as the host of "JackTalk," Jack vows never to return to acting. When Will's father passes, it's hard for him to cope with the loss, as his last memory of him is a fight they had. But when Grace tries to comfort a younger member of the family, she begins to question her ability to be a good parent. In the end Will is glad to have had such a great turn out and he realizes there are things in his life he needs to change.
Will and Grace attend childbirth classes; Karen seeks comfort from very busy Jack.
Will and Grace begin attending birth classes together, Grace starts to doubt whether Will is up for raising a child with her when he and Vince take another chance at having a relationship.
