Between Kristen Stewart's hot-and-cold romance with Robert Pattinson and her public affair with Rupert Sanders, the 23-year-old has had a rocky love life over the last few years. While "The Twilight" star has typically remained quiet about her relationships, she's opening up in Marie Claire's March 2014 issue for the first time about falling in love and how she can't help which person her heart desires.
"You don't know who you will fall in love with. You just don't. You don't control it. Some people have certain things, like, 'That's what I'm going for,' and I have a subjective version of that," she continued. "I don't pressure myself… If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them —but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love."

Her latest quotes about her lack of control in the romance department don't seem to be calling out the feelings she had back in 2012, when she was caught canoodling with her director from "Snow White and The Huntsmen," but they sure do seem like a good explanation for her actions. Even though the actress is now admitting that she can't help whom she loves, when she publically apologized to her "Twilight" co-star for cheating on him many months ago, she made it clear that Robert was the one who had her heart.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
While R.Patz and K.Stew had a long-term on-and-off relationship dating back to 2008, it now seems to be kaput. One of the ways that helped her get over the breakup, she told the mag, was to write about it in a poem, one that she wrote while on a road trip with a friend through Texas. This poem, titled "My Heart Is a Wiffle Ball/Freedom Pole," includes the themes of love and her life in the spotlight. Though the words she penned were confusing, they clearly meant a lot to her, because she was embarrassed while reading the poem out loud. "He's speaking in tongues all along the pan handle/ And this pining erosion is getting dust in/ My eyes/ And I'm drunk on your morsels."
