"Y'all really want to see the other finger?"

Yeah, we probably should've known to stop him right there.

Usually when a funny guy on TV holds out his finger, there's a "whoever smelt it dealt it" joke coming at us. But on Tuesday's "LIVE!", Michael Strahan showed us how he landed his new gig co-hosting with Kelly. It's either because he's crooked, or because he's literally very, very flexible.

This all started when they sat down with Mark Harmon, who has a lot in common with Strahan: They're both ex-jocks who transitioned from feared football stars to Hollywood nice guys. Once upon a time, before he starred on "NCIS," Harmon was a golden boy quarterback at UCLA, and Strahan tied his hands up in knots chasing down guys like Harmon as a defensive end for the New York Giants. And all those tackles and sacks have left Strahan's stra-hands a bit, err, re-shaped. Let's just say he's probably never gonna give a piano recital. But having double-digit double-jointed digits does make for a pretty disgustingly great party trick!

So how did Harmon manage to maintain his good looks (and keep his fingers from looking like the streets of San Francisco) after all those years on the gridiron? He told Strahan, "When guys like you came at me, I just sat down!" And while that was probably the natural moment for a bro-tastic high-five, they decided against it. Probably because Strahan's manhandled hands could only manage a high-three-and-a-half, at best.
