Michael Douglas arrived at the 65th Annual Primetime Emmys red carpet looking the picture of health — and wearing his wedding ring.
The star teamed with co-star and fellow nominee Matt Damon to introduce an Elton John tribute to Liberace. He was accompanied by his brother, Joel Douglas, and took home an award for Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for "Behind the Candelabra."
During his speech, though, he name-checked someone who was MIA. "I want to thank my wife, Catherine, for her support," he said from the stage.
Catherine Zeta-Jones was half a world away, at a red carpet event in China.
The solo actress, who was also wearing "what looked to be her wedding ring," stunned at an event in China’s Shandong province. The "Red 2" star appeared for the opening of the country's $5 billion movie studio along with A-listers Leonard DiCaprio, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman, and Ewan McGregor.
Reps for the 68-year-old Douglas and 43-year-old Zeta-Jones confirmed to omg! last month that the stars, who have been married for 13 years, were temporarily separating to "work on their marriage."

Both Douglas and Zeta-Jones have dealt with health issues in recent years. Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2010. Zeta-Jones suffers from bipolar disorder and has spent time in a clinic to treat the condition.
Still, the actress has said that she will do "everything in my power" to keep her family together, which includes their two children, Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10.
During his Emmy speech, Douglas also thanked "my kids Dylan and Carys and my oldest son, Cameron. I'm hoping I'll be able and they'll allow me to see him soon." Cameron, his 34-year-old son with ex-wife Diandra Luker, is serving a 10-year sentence for drug charges.
