'Scandal' Season 2 Deleted Scene: Another Suitor for Olivia? [Exclusive Video]

Be strong, Gladiators, because Season 3 of "Scandal" doesn't premiere for another five weeks. If only Olivia Pope was real and could fix this problem!

In the meantime, we've got a juicy deleted scene from last season to feast on. It comes from the Season 2 premiere, "White Hat's Off." If you recall, Olivia (Kerry Washington) and her associates took on the case of Congressman Jacob Shaw (Jackson Hurst), who had discovered that someone had bugged his office and taped a rather risqué encounter with a young female lawyer.

Like the boss that she is, Olivia totally handled the situation by leaking the footage herself! As she told Shaw, that way they could spin the story however they wanted. Shawn used the opportunity to talk about the issues.

In this deleted scene, Shaw drops by Olivia's office to thank her — with a bottle of wine. It seems the congressman is ready to be a one-woman kind of guy … for the right woman.

"I plan to be living proof that a leopard can change its spots. From now on, I'm no longer playing the field," Shaw says.

"I don't drink with clients," Olivia replies with a gentle smile.

And then Shaw inadvertently gets Olivia where she's most vulnerable — her broken heart over one President Fitzgerald Grant — when he says, "I'm not sure you're used to seeing good guys."

"Scandal: The Complete Second Season" will be available on DVD Tuesday, 9/3. "Scandal" Season 3 premieres Thursday, 10/3 at 10 PM on ABC.
