Watch NBC’s ‘The New Normal’ before it airs [Video]

Heard anything about "The New Normal" yet? If you read the news, you probably have; NBC's new fall comedy has already been boycotted by One Million Moms and banned by a Utah affiliate. Well, now you can see what's causing all this controversy for yourself: NBC has posted the full series premiere of "The New Normal" online, and you can watch it right here on Yahoo! TV, two weeks before it airs.

So what's all the fuss about? "Normal" follows a committed gay couple, Bryan and David (Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha), as they set out to adopt a baby. Their search for a surrogate eventually leads them to Goldie (Georgia King), a daydreaming single mom who offers to help them start their family. But she also brings her inquisitive tween daughter (Bebe Wood) and her wildly bigoted grandma (Ellen Barkin) into their lives along with her, forming a very strange -- and very modern -- family.

It may be inspiring plenty of heated rhetoric, but "The New Normal" doesn't wear its political agenda on its sleeve. It's a family comedy in the vein of ABC's "Modern Family" that's surprisingly sweet; in fact, we liked it enough to give it a place among our Fall TV Editors' Picks. But we want to know what you think. After you're done watching the pilot, let us know what you think in the comments.

"The New Normal" premieres Tuesday, 9/11 at 9:30 PM on NBC.
