14 Spinoffs You Forgot Existed [Photos]

Even though it doesn't officially premiere until Feb. 8, the reviews are in for the Breaking Bad follow-up Better Call Saul and many critics (including Yahoo TV's critic-at-large Ken Tucker) are describing it as that rare creature: a spinoff that's actually worthy of the original. Rewinding the clock to Saul Goodman's pre-Walter White days, the show's creators, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, plan to tell original stories while still remaining faithful to Breaking Bad's mythology, and working in some familiar faces and plot points. So even if viewers enjoy Better Call Saul, they'll never really forget that it's a Breaking Bad spinoff.

Better Call Saul looks to be an anomaly: The majority of spinoffs are spectacular failures (see: Joey), but some crash and burn in a much quieter way and ultimately end up being erased from our pop culture brains completely. That's definitely the case with the following 14 series, which we (almost) forgot existed.
