It's been nearly two months since fans of The Good Wife and Madam Secretary have seen new episodes, but the wait is almost over. CBS's Sunday lineup is all-new March 1, and Yahoo TV has exclusive clips from the shows' return, as well as from the series premiere of Battle Creek, the new drama from David Shore and Vince Gilligan.

The Good Wife resumes with Alicia (Julianna Margulies) trying to keep her campaign for State's Attorney civil. Her latest problem: Her staff is using a Twitter account (TobyZiegler44, West Wing fans) to communicate with her PAC, which has taken to employing false-flag robocalls against her opponent, Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce). "A false-flag robocall is something where you pretend to be the other campaign, but you're really trying to turn off the voter — make them nasty. Here, it's one that's a very homophobic smear being done by Alicia's PAC,co-creator Robert King explains, setting up the clip below. "And so the episode is about how campaigns coordinate with their PACs, even though they're legally not supposed to coordinate with their PAC."

As is often the case with The Good Wife, showing the innerworkings of the campaign provides comic relief, particularly when Margulies, Sarah Steele, David Krumholtz, and Steven Pasquale are together. "You should see the dailies," King says. "They can barely get through a scene without making each other crack up. What's lovely, obviously, is when you have comedians that are also great dramatic actors, and all of them can turn on a dime. So we have found ourselves so lucky with these four."

On Madam Secretary, Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) also has words with her staff after she's humiliated at a public budget hearing when they fail to find the corruption that exists in her microloan program. She informs them that she's bringing in a consultant (Mad Men's Kevin Rahm) to clean up their mess.

The mood is decidedly lighter on Battle Creek, which finds Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opening an FBI field office at the underfunded police station in Battle Creek, Michigan. Watch Milt meet his new colleagues — more than one of whom is distracted by his handsomeness — below.

Madam Secretary airs Sundays at 8 p.m., followed by The Good Wife at 9 p.m. and Battle Creek at 10 p.m. on CBS.
