"Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel" is an animated adventure assembling characters from two hugely popular franchises, Disney's "Phineas and Ferb" and Marvel's iconic Super Heroes: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. The epic television event premieres Friday, August 16 at 8 PM on Disney Channel and marks the first crossover animated television special for Marvel and Disney properties.

The cartoon brothers who accomplish preternatural feats while hanging out at home on summer vacation will come to the rescue of some of the superpowerful talents of the Marvel universe in "Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel."

The hourlong episode features four of Marvel's greatest heroes: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk, all of whom have lost their superpowers to the Power Drain-Inator of Dr. Doofenshmirtz (Phineas and Ferb's primary antagonist). When the Marvel villains Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom, and M.O.D.O.K. learn of the occurrence, they take the opportunity to cause trouble in the city of Danville.

In this exclusive clip from the special episode of the hit Disney Channel series, a group of unlikely heroes come to the rescue of Iron Man when he is under duress by the evil villain Red Skull. Baljeet Tjinder (voiced by Maulik Pancholy) arrives at the scene as "Hulkjeet" to rescue Iron Man from plummeting to his death.

He is closely followed by Phineas in his own "Bacaw" suit, although it appears as though the budding young inventor is still working out the kinks as he crashes into a tree. And finally, the platypus of the hour, Perry (aka "Agent P"), swoops in dressed to the nines in a supersuit.

Together, Phineas and Ferb, along with their group of friends-turned-superheroes, must return the lost powers to their Marvel brethren.

They must also, however, deal with Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who seems keen on gunning down everyone with breakfast-food-goodness by way of his Waffle-inator.

Will the boys return power to the superheroes? Will Danville be safe again? Will Doofenshmirtz be foiled once more by Agent P? One can only wonder.

That is, until you tune in to the episode on Friday, 8/16 at 8 PM on Disney Channel.
