Comic-Con 2013 kicks off this week in sunny San Diego, and TV fans can't wait to get the scoop on what's going to happen next on their favorite shows. In a fun promotional move, CBS has released a minimalist red, black, and white "Under the Dome" Comic-Con poster featuring the most popular deceased character on the series: The poor cow that got cut in half lengthwise during the premiere!

Fans of the show will recall that the cow's brutal bisection was one of the most memorable moments from the pilot, prompting plenty of black humor on Twitter. In a series with plenty of thrills and chills, the cow incident still stands alone as the most awesome example of the dome's power.

"Under the Dome," based on a Stephen King novel of the same name, tells the story of Chester's Mill, a small New England town that's cut off from the outside world by a mysterious transparent dome. The premiere drew an audience of 13.14 million viewers, making it the most watched summer drama on any network since 1992.

Planning to attend Comic-Con this year? "Under the Dome" cast members Dean Norris (Big Jim), Rachelle Lefevre (Julia Shumway), and Mike Vogel (Barbie) will be signing this exclusive cow poster art for fans at the CBS interactive booth on Sunday, July 21. Executive producers Neal Baer and Brian K. Vaughan will also be on hand.

"Under the Dome" airs Mondays at 10 PM on CBS.
