Taylor Armstrong of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" sat down with Andy Cohen on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" to discuss the suicide of her husband, Russell Armstrong.

The interview focuses on many difficult topics, including the abuse Taylor suffered from what she says was "a very young age." With her new book, "Hiding From Reality," Taylor says she hopes to help break the cycle of domestic violence and explain to readers that the violence she suffered began at a "very young age." She ended up in her situation, she says, because of her own flaws and insecurities.

In the interview, Taylor also talks about how her young daughter, Kennedy, is handling the loss of her father. Kennedy, like her mother, has "good days and bad days." Taylor explains that Kennedy was with her when they discovered that Russell had taken his own life. "She knew something went bad," Taylor says. "The first thing she said was, 'Did Daddy do something dumb?'" Kennedy was 5 at the time.
