'Project Runway All Stars' Episode 3 preview: The designers create 'wearable art' [exclusive video]

What happens when the designers are paired with graffiti artists, spray paint, and fabric and challenged to make "wearable art"? It brings out the best in some and the cattiness in others -- here's looking at you, Casanova -- on the "Up Your Aerosol" episode of "Project Runway All Stars" this week.

In our exclusive preview clip, mentor Joanna Coles chats with the designers about what kinds of art have inspired them, prompting Uli, a native of East Germany, to share her memories of turning 18 just as the Berlin Wall came down.

Others offer comments that are decidedly less thoughtful, as Joshua explains to Joanna that he practices "aerosol art" every day when he fashions his hairdo, and Casanova pokes fun at Suede's garment. "What the hell is that?!," Casanova wonders about Suede's Earth-and-stars-inspired dress.

Costello Tagliapietra founders Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra are the guest judges for the episode, in which the 11 remaining designers continue their pursuit of the season's fabulous prize package, which includes $150,000 in cash, a contributing editor position at Marie Claire magazine for a year, the chance to design a capsule collection for Nine West, a sewing and embroidery studio from Brother, a technology suite from HP and Intel, and an all-expenses-paid trip around the world to attend fashion week in Paris, London, Milan, and Tokyo.

"Project Runway All Stars" airs Thursdays at 9 PM on Lifetime.
