On Monday, “Saturday Night Live” announced the hiring of new featured player Jon Rudnitsky. “Who?” most of the web asked. TheWrap has answered.

Rudnitsky will technically make his “SNL” debut on Oct. 3, when Miley Cyrus opens the year as host. That is, if he makes it into the live sketch show on his very first try. Let’s see how he’s done on the open Internet for now.
