Cougar Town's third season has been cut from 22 episodes to 15, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The half-hour comedy starring Courteney Cox was missing from ABC's midseason lineup released on Friday, but sources tell TVGuide.com that Cougar Town will still return in the spring, though an official premiere date has not yet been set.

NBC benches Community, sets series finale date for Chuck

Shows included in the schedule are new comedy Work It, Celebrity Wife Swap (premiering Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 8/7c and 9/8c respectively), The River (Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 9/8c), and GCB (Sunday, March 4 at 10/9c). Missing, starring Ashley Judd, will take Charlie's Angels' old slot on Thursdays at 8/7c beginning March 15. Premiere dates for Shonda Rhimes' new drama Scandal and the comedy Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 have not yet been set.
