It's time to retire the leotard.

ABC Family has canceled the gymnastics drama Make It or Break It after the end of its current abbreviated third season, Deadline reports. Series creator Holly Sorenson also tweeted, "MIOBI nation. We all love you so much. And we are, very sadly, three weeks away from the series finale of #miobi."

The series, which follows elite-level gymnasts as they train for the Olympics, debuted in June 2009 to 2.5 million viewers. And although the show made it to a second 20-episode season, which was down from its freshman season, ABC Family ordered up an additional eight-episode third season "in time to ignite Olympic fever," according to network president Michael Riley. Make It or Break It is averaging 1.27 million viewers season to date.

The series finale will air Monday, May 14 at 9/8c.
