ABC's 'Nashville' official poster art unveiled [Exclusive Photo]

What better way to celebrate the Olympics opening day than with some gold… country gold, that is!

We got an exclusive first look at ABC's "Nashville" key art, which will be used to promote the series premiering on Wednesday, October 10, at 10 PM. The ad features the buzzy new drama's leading ladies, Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, rocking some serious gold outfits. Britton, in a pair of stark white jeans and a glittery gold top, sits on a throne-like chair made of platinum guitars while Panettiere lies at her feet wearing a tight, cleavage-baring, sparkly gold minidress and leans against her own guitar.

The ad does an excellent job of highlighting the show's main characters and hinting at the plot.

Beloved by TV fans for her work as Tami Taylor on "Friday Night Lights" and more recently on "American Horror Story" as Vivien Harmon, Britton plays a fading country legend who is asked by her record label to open for an up-and-coming starlet. Now all grown up, Panettiere ditches her "Heroes" cheerleader uniform and good-girl attitude to play the ambitious younger rival, described by Britton's character as "that disrespectful, untalented, little vixen."
