Alec Baldwin Calls Hank Williams Jr. 'a Pathetic, Wheezing Fossil' for Dissing Obama
Alec Baldwin is throwing punches in the Twitter ring once again. His latest target is country singer Hank Williams Jr., who vocalized anti-Obama sentiment at a Texas concert on Sunday.
"If Hank Williams Jr. wasn't such a pathetic, wheezing fossil, I'd have a talk with him," Baldwin tweeted from his verified account on Tuesday.
"I think we need to call Hank Williams Jr what he is.... A broken-down, senile, racist coot," he added.
The Twitter assault follows comments Williams Jr. reportedly made onstage between songs at the Stockyards Music Festival in Fort Worth.

"We've got a Muslim for a President who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays, and we hate him," Williams told a cheering crowd, according to the Dallas Morning News.
This isn't Williams Jr.'s first controversial outburst. ESPN dropped his Monday Night Football jingle last October after the singer likened Obama to Hitler.
And Baldwin has historically lacked a brain-to-Twitter filter. After Clint Eastwood's recent speech at the Republican National Convention, the "30 Rock" star wrote, "Then they roll out Clint Eastwood, who smears molasses all over the convention floor."
