Sopranos star James Gandolfini's cause of death has been confirmed as cardiac arrest, the Rome hospital where the actor's body was taken on Wednesday has confirmed.
Doctors had not previously noted any suspicious factors, such as drugs or alcohol, on his medical report, according to sources.
The 51-year-old actor died at a hotel in Rome on Wednesday while vacationing in Italy. Hotel staff reportedly broke down his door after his son Michael called for help because knocks on the door had gone unanswered.
