‘The Bachelor’ week 2 recap: Sean Lowe is free falling in love

He's moving fast, ladies! "The Bachelor" isn't wasting any time on his journey to find love. In fact, Sean Lowe has already locked lips with several of his ladies, and it's only week two of the ABC dating show!

On Monday's episode of "The Bachelor," the beefy business entrepreneur ditched his shirt at every opportunity and gave his lips a workout during two one-on-one dates and a group date. Meanwhile, the claws came out, and Sean pulled a prank on one unlucky lady.

Free falling in love

So what was on tap for that all-important first date? Just ask Sarah. The 26-year-old ad exec is picked up by helicopter (this is "The Bachelor," after all) and whisked away on a dream date to… the top of a tall building! Yessir, it's free falling time, and it wouldn't be "The Bachelor" without a terrifying test to see who's worthy of Sean's heart. After a 300-foot free fall, Sarah -- who was born with one arm -- gets a rose and the first mini-make out session of the season, but not before sharing her emotional story of the struggles she's endured due to her physical disability.

Candid camera

Oh boy, what do you get when you mix 13 girls, one sexy stud, and a photo shoot for a romance novel cover? Let's just say it's no Harlequin romance! Tierra, Selma, Katie, Robyn, Catherine, Amanda, Lesley M., Kacie, Brooke, Kristy, Daniella, Taryn, and Diana join Sean for a steamy photo shoot, and they are told that the girl who has the most chemistry with Sean wins a three-book cover deal for the popular romance series.

The girls go heavy on the makeup and light on the clothes as they get gussied up for cowboy and vampire-themed covers (Sean loses his shirt in a millisecond, of course!), and the claws come out as some of the girls get on-camera smooches with "The Bachelor" star. (Lesley M., we're looking at you!) For the spectators, there's nothing like seeing your boyfriend kiss one of his other 25 girlfriends!

Kristy -- who is already a Ford model and darn proud of it -- wins the cover deal after manhandling Sean during her photo session.

At the after party, Amanda segregates herself from the other girls but comes to life when Sean whisks her away for a private chat. Still, she's getting a rep for having bad energy.

Meanwhile, Kacie -- who met Sean previously at some "Bachelor" events -- tells him that she wants to graduate from the "friend zone," and he seems to like the idea. (He even gives her the group date rose!) Tierra's reaction: "I wanted to punch her."

And later, Robyn goes where no bachelorette has ever gone before -- at least not on this show! Noting this season's more diverse cast, Robyn comes right out and asks Sean if he is attracted to black females. He loves the question and rattles off his dating history: "Honestly, physically, I don't have a type… I've dated everybody, and when I say everybody, I mean Hispanic, Persian. My last girlfriend -- black." (Good answer, Sean!)

Later, another one bites the dust, but it's her call. After telling the other girls, "I feel excessively uncomfortable here. I'm not going to compete. I'm going to retreat," Katie approaches Sean and tells him she's just not that into him. Oh well, that just makes his job easier. He doesn't hesitate to escort her to an exit limo. Don't let the door hit ya, honey!

Best pickup line of the night: Catherine corners Sean and tells him, "I'm vegan, but I love the beef." (Only on "The Bachelor"!)

Prank you very much

Poor Desiree. The Katie Holmes lookalike is super excited for her one-on-one date with Sean, but little does she know that he and Chris Harrison have cooked up an elaborate plan to pull a prank on her.

The setting is an art gallery opening (fake, of course), where a one-of-a kind, million-dollar piece of phony art spontaneously breaks while Des is alone in the room. Enter the furious, F-bomb dropping artist, who points a finger at the hapless bachelorette.

"I didn't touch it!" Desiree swears. Sean quickly rushes in to save her and lets her in on the joke, then makes up for it by cooking her a steak dinner at his place. Steamy hot tub hijinks ensue, so suffice it to say she forgives him.

Sean: "Right now, I could see myself with Des. I see every quality I would look for in a wife and a best friend."

Every rose ceremony has its thorn

Rose ceremony time, and Sean has a bouquet to dole out: AshLee, Lindsay, Robyn, Jackie, Lesley M., Selma, Catherine, Kristy, Leslie H., Tierra, Taryn, Daniella, and (shocker) Amanda all get roses. Diana, the single mom salon owner, and Brooke, the community organizer, are sent packing.

Meanwhile, villain alert! You'd think this season's most-hated lady would be Kacie, the former content from Ben Flajnik's season who showed up to Sean's love party uninvited. But no, Kacie is so sticky sweet, she's managed to fit right in with the other girls. Instead, this season's target looks to be Tierra, the girl who garnered Sean's first rose last week as soon as she got out of the limo. The girls are already calling her out for acting phony around Sean, so let the cattiness begin!

"The Bachelor" Season 17 airs on Mondays at 8 PM ET on ABC.
