In Curacao, both Arie and Jef meet Emily's family and ultimately ask her father for permission to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage and are given Mr. Maynard's blessing. Also, after much debate, Emily gives Jef the opportunity to meet her daughter Ricki. But what about Arie?

Chris Harrison arrives to Emily's room where she tells him that her mind is made up. "Jef is everything I've been looking for," she says. Emily then tears up thinking about how she has to let Arie down.

"I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say, but you know how I feel about you," Emily tells Arie shortly after she meets him for their final date. "From our very first date and beyond that, it felt like it was going to be me and you and I don't know anymore... I'm sorry." Arie walks away, adds a "Good luck," and gives her a final hug goodbye.

As upset as Emily is, she smiles thinking about her future with Jef, who later arrives to learn his fate with the girl he loves. He walks up to Emily and she says, "It's been a long road, but one I can look back on every single moment, even the lowest and know it was all worth it because I can stand here and tell you you're everything I've looked for, for so long. You're my soulmate ... I love you so so much." They kiss and Jef soon says, "I feel like the luckiest man in the world. I think it's so rare people find the person they're meant to be with and ... I'm so grateful we did."

Jef then gets down on one knee, proposes, and she says yes. (And by the way, TVGuide.com users accurately predicted Emily's choice. Good job, guys!)
