Baltimore Mayor, Maryland Governor Walk Out on Contentious Don Lemon Interview (Video)

Whenever the cable news networks cover the ever-growing number of protests across the country, CNN’s Don Lemon seems to find himself in the middle of it all.

That was no different Monday night in violence-riddled Baltimore, as Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Maryland Governor Larry Hogan walked out on an interview with Lemon when things got contentious.

Lemon asked how the Mayor can reassure business owners and parents who are worried about their property and kids.

“We will bring order, we’ll do it collaboratively; I am determined that this darkest day will not define our city,” the Mayor said.

When Lemon tried to press her for more specifics, the Governor cut him off, telling him he’s moving the Governor’s office to Baltimore City Tuesday: “We’re going to get this under control … Marylanders will be proud of the effort once we get this all under control,” he said.

Lemon tried to follow up with him, but the Governor decided it was time to wrap: “I think we’re going to have to go,” he said. As they walked off, Lemon continued trying to ask them questions.
