Ben Affleck: Blake Lively Made Me Feel Old

Ben Affleck isn't as young as he used to be.

In a rather candid interview with Details magazine, on newsstands Sept. 18, the 40-year-old actor tells a humorous story about how his 25-year-old costar, Blake Lively, really made him feel his age.

"When I was doing The Town, I'd tour the actors around Boston. I was with Blake, and I saw Matt's childhood home," Affleck reflects. "And I said, 'Oh yeah, that's where Matt grew up.' And she said, 'Who?' And I said, 'Matt Damon.' And she said, 'Oh my God! You know Jason Bourne?!'"

Lively didn't seem to be familiar with Affleck and his best friend Damon's 1997 Oscar-nominated movie Good Will Hunting.

"She really didn't know. And I thought, 'There it is. The first age of people who are adults who missed the whole Matt-and-Ben propaganda campaign!" he tells Details. "Mostly, it just made me feel old."

In her defense, when Good Will Hunting was released, Lively was only 11 years old.

The former costars both had big years with Lively saying "I do" to her Green Lantern costar Ryan Reynolds and Affleck having a new baby with wife Jennifer Garner.

The Argo actor says of his family life, "Anytime you think, 'I'm wasting my time here,' the first thought you have is 'I could go home and be with my kids.' Now, you may go home and be with your kids and very quickly start thinking, 'I wonder what's on the work front?' Because running around after three kids is very trying. Now everything has to compete with being my family."
