Ben Carson Makes Bid to Become America’s First ‘Come at Me Bro’ President: Wrap Trends (Video)

Ben Carson revealed in an interview Wednesday that he was once held at gunpoint in a Popeye’s, making him the authority on how to handle mass shootings.

“Guy comes in, put the gun in my ribs. And I just said, ‘I believe that you want the guy behind the counter,'” Carson recalled.

The anecdote follows a controversial “Fox & Friends” interview in which the presidential candidate said that he would have done more to stop the Umpqua Community College shooting in Oregon. Had he been there, Carson says he would have attempted to stop the shooter by confronting him.

“Not only would I probably not cooperate with him, I would not just stand there and let him shoot me,” the Charles Bronson of the GOP presidential field said. “I would say, ‘Hey, guys, everybody attack him! He may shoot me but he can’t get us all.'”

So is Carson’s plan a good one? Or is it insanely, unconscionably, inconceivably, unfathomably, insupportably stupid? Watch the latest Wrap Trends for more!
