Bill Clinton to Guest on Season Premiere of ‘StarTalk Hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson’ (Exclusive)

Former President Bill Clinton will be the first guest on the second season premiere of National Geographic Channel’s “StarTalk Hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson,” which will return in October, the network announced Wednesday.

“I couldn’t think of a more appropriate guest to kick off our second season,” Tyson said in a statment. “President Bill Clinton is a public figure whose impact and influence spans politics, pop culture and science — with an occasional dose of humor. That’s exactly the mission statement of ‘StarTalk,’ and I look forward to sharing our conversation with viewers.”

Susan Sarandon, David Byrne, Larry Wilmore, Bas Lansdorp and the magicians Penn and Teller are also among guests who will appear during Season 2.

The show is based on deGrasse Tyson’s podcast of the same name, and infuses pop culture with science, while bringing together comedians and celebrities to delve into a wide range of topics.

“StarTalk Hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson” returns for Season 2 on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 10 p.m. ET on Nat Geo.
