Everyone's favorite dysfunctional family has returned.

Arrested Development began shooting its fourth season, which will air exclusively on Netflix next year, this week — and a handful of photos have surfaced from the first day of filming.

"First day. Away we go," star Jason Bateman, who plays Michael Bluth, tweeted Tuesday, posting a photo of the cast and crew assembled in what appears to be an airport.

Last week, Bateman tweeted a picture of co-star Michael Cera, who plays George Michael Bluth, on set, with the caption "My son, arriving yesterday."

Arrested Development to begin filming in four weeks

Other paparazzi shots from the initial shoot feature Bateman, Portia de Rossi and David Cross, whose character Tobias Funke is dressed in only a sheet.

The first scene was filmed at the Burbank Airport, which is doubling for an Indian airport, according to the Huffington Post. The sheet is Tobias' interpretation of a traditional Sari.

Arrested Development last aired in 2006 on Fox. The fourth season will include 10 episodes, each focused on a different member of the Bluth family. All will be made available simultaneously on Netflix sometime in 2013.
