‘Breaking Bad’ Finale to Screen at Hollywood Cemetery
Fans mourning the end of “Breaking Bad” can bury their favorite meth-centric show in style; at L.A.’s Hollywood Forever cemetery, with show star Aaron Paul slated to attend.
Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman on the hit AMC series, first hinted about his plans in February to Empire Online. He confirmed on Twitter Wednesday that he’ll be there to celebrate the end on the day of the series finale.
“On September 29th the first and the very last episode of BB will air inside of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery,” he tweeted last month. “I will be there. Will you?”
He also told Empire Online that the entire cast would be there to watch the first and last episode, and that there will be “one hell of a party.” The rest of the cast has yet to confirm their attendance.
The Hollywood Forever Cemetery hosts the wildly-popular Cinespia classic film screenings such as “Pulp Fiction” and “Scream” on weekends in summer, and is also a favorite spot for TV premieres such as “Pushing Daisies.”
The final eight episodes will begin airing August 11 on AMC.
For viewers fearing the deaths of favorite characters, such as Paul’s character or the infamous Walter White, the cemetery might be the perfect location. According to Paul, all proceeds from the event will go to cancer research and, fittingly, drug rehab centers.
