'Breaking Bad,' 'Homeland,' NBC Win Big at Critics' Choice Television Awards

The Broadcast Television Journalists Association held its 2nd Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday night, with AMC's "Breaking Bad," Showtime's "Homeland" and NBC leading the pack of winners.

"Homeland" took away Best Drama Series honors, with the series' star, Claire Danes, winning in the Best Actress in a Drama Series category. "Breaking Bad" star

Bryan Cranston, meanwhile, won the Best Actor in a Drama Series award, and Giancarlo Esposito, who portrayed spectacularly deceased meth kingpin Gus Fring on "Breaking Bad," won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

ABC's "Modern Family," NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and the PBS miniseries "Sherlock" also walked away with two awards each.

Of the networks, NBC racked up the highest tally -- the two for "Parks and Recreation," plus a win for "The Voice" in the Best Reality Series -- Competition category, "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"'s win for Best Talk Show," and one for "Community," which walked away with Best Comedy Series honors.

Presenters at Monday night's awards ceremony included "Glee" star Chris Colfer, Emily Deschanel from "Bones," "Dallas" actor Patrick Duffy and Sarah Paulson of "American Horror Story."
