Bryan Cranston’s ‘Sneaky Pete’ Scores Amazon Series Order

Bryan Cranston‘s Amazon show “Sneaky Pete” landed a series order from online retailer and now studio, according to media reports.

The show stars Giovanni Ribisi, Margo Martindale and Ethan Embry, among others. Cranston guest stars on and executive produces the crime comedy’s pilot, which is also exec produced by David Shore, Seth Gordon, James Degus and Erin Gunn.

“Sneaky Pete” revolves around a con-man (Ribisi) who assumes the identity of his prison cellmate, and cons his way into a family bail bond business. In order to keep the charade up, he plays the part of a skip tracer, taking down criminals worse than himself, all while discovering a family life he’s never had.

Gordon, who directed “Horrible Bosses,” directed the pilot written by Shore. CBS initially passed on the pilot produced by Sony Pictures Television.
