Carly Fiorina Rips Hillary Clinton in GOP Presidential Announcement (Video)

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO and failed California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina announced she’s seeking the GOP presidential nomination on “Good Morning America” Monday.

“Yes, I am running for president,” she said.

Fiorina said she understands technology, which can reimagine government and help halt a bloated government bureaucracy. People are tired of professional politicians, she said, and thinks she would be the right leader for the country.

Fiorina also took a shot at Hillary Rodham Clinton: “She clearly is not trustworthy, she has not been transparent about a whole set of things.”

When George Stephanopoulos pressed her, she pointed to controversies around Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi terror attack as well as her use of private emails as Secretary of State.

This marks the second time that Fiorina will seek public office. In 2010, she ran for a California Senate seat against Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer in which she was defeated by 10 points (52.2 percent for Boxer).

Fiorina is the first woman in the Republican presidential field. Others expected to announce this week include Dr. Ben Carson and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
