The CW's Beauty and the Beast Nabs Full Season
Beauty and the Beast is sitting pretty: The freshman drama has earned a full-season pickup from The CW.
The back-nine order comes the morning after the show enjoyed some impressive ratings gains. Thursday’s episode scored week-over-week growth of 9 percent in total viewers and 17 percent in the 18-49 demo.

Beauty is the second CW rookie to get a full-season, following last month’s pickup of Arrow. The jury is still out on the network’s struggling medical soap Emily Owens, M.D.
