‘Daily Show’ & ‘Colbert’ To Go Live On Election Night

Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report will broadcast live November 6 on both the East and West coasts. The fake news shows plan Election Night shows at 11 PM/8 PM PT and 11:30 PM/8:30 PM. Stewart’s Election Night 2012: This Ends Now will feature early results and analysis from Stewart and the show’s regular correspondents. Stephen Colbert’s Election 2012: A Nation Votes, Ohio Decides; The Re-Presidenting of America: Who Will Replace Obama? ’012! will include a guest appearance by columnist Andrew Sullivan. Both Stewart and Colbert returned to the air Wednesday after their shows shut down for two days due to Hurricane Sandy. This will the sixth election in a row, since 1992, that Comedy Central has had live coverage. This year’s shows will also broadcast on MTV’s Times Square jumbotron i n New York
