‘Dancing With the Stars’ Crowns Season 19 Winner

(Spoiler alert: Do not read on if you have not yet watched the 19th season finale of ABC's “Dancing With the Stars.”)

After months of competition — some tough and some almost laughable — Season 19 of ABC's “Dancing With the Stars” truly delivered on an intense and evenly balanced finale. It was truly anyone's season to win going into the show's special Tuesday night finale.

The final three couples had all achieved several perfect scores on their way to the finals, with Alfonso Ribeiro giving himself a slight edge with back-to-back perfect scores in Monday's first part of this two-night finale event.

Monday night's show saw the couples each perform twice, with all four remaining couples earning perfect scores for their freestyle performance. In the end, though, Bethany Mota fell just short of making the finals in one of the fiercest Top 4 groupings the show has ever seen.

Joining Ribeiro and Witney Carson in the finals were “Pretty Little Liars” star Janel Parrish and her professional partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, and “Duck Dynasty” daughter Sadie Robertson with her partner Mark Ballas.

Once again, it was a night of perfection, with the judges gushing almost equally for all three couples as they took to the stage. With scores that tight, it really came down to America's vote, and America jumped behind “The Carlton.”

Janel Parrish settled for a third place finish, while Sadie Robertson — who at 17-years old really surprised and impressed a lot of people with her poise and grace — scored the runner-up position. Alfonso Ribeiro danced his way into America's heart this season, and now he's got the Mirrorball trophy to prove it.

“Dancing With the Stars” will return to celebrate its 10th anniversary with its 20th season in 2015.
