With Season 15 of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" set to debut next week, the all-star cast is getting ready for another go at the mirror ball trophy. But first, they have to get past the first week, because one unlucky couple will be eliminated on the second night of the show!
Check out how the "DWTS" all-stars are getting ready for their dancing debut.
Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and her partner, Derek Hough, are getting fierce! The dancing duo recently spent some time with the Fierce 5. Hough posted an Instagram pic of himself and Johnson hanging with women's Olympics gymnastics team members Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross, and Jordyn Wieber. Johnson told Rumorfix, "They're my teammates they're like my sisters, so I couldn't have been prouder of them!"
Get set for a slimmer and more confident Bristol Palin. The one time Governors daughter-turned- reality star won't dish on the secret to her recent weight loss, but she did tell The Insider, "I think I've just grown up a lot in the last two years. I'm not just like a little a kid anymore....I think that's just going to add to the performance factor a bit."
Add Kirstie Alley to the list of newly-svelte returning "DWTS"alums. In a web exclusive segment for "The Dr. Oz Show," Alley said dancing motivates her. "If I start dancing I get really happy." she said. Alley has lost 100 pounds since her 2009 stint on the show.
And it's a whole new Melissa Rycroft! According to the National Ledger, since her season 8 stint on the show a lot has changed for the "Bachelor" alum. "She's married now and has a child," her pro partner Tony Dovolani said. "She has a better attitude than last time. She even likes different music. It's like dancing with a new person."
For Gilles Marini it's all about the dances. The hunky French actor recently tweeted: "R 1st 2 weeks r hard one on @DancingABC. Foxtrot then Jive. But then it's bombastic with my favorite dances." He later added: "Foxtrot's the rolls royce of ballroom. The hard one. "
Pamela Anderson wants to keep her focus on the competition, so she's vowed to give up men while she's on the show. But she told USA Today that having the ever-so-hunky Irishman, Tristan MacManus, as her partner is a challenge. "I'm being tested," she said. "It's hard when you have a sweaty man pressed up against you every day. I feel lascivious…Trust me, I could chew through a table right now."
And will it be the battle of the boy bands? 'NSYNC singer Joey Fatone will be going head to head with 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey.
"I think there's a bit of a competitive streak between Joey Fatone and myself," Lachey told People. "We're good friends and we go back a long way. But the smack-talk is already starting with the boy band competition thing."
Lachey is also ready for the politics of the voting in the world of social networking. "In season 2, we didn't have Facebook. We didn't have Twitter," he said, "It was just more of how your dancing was, and how people connected to you as a performer and as a contestant on the show. So I'm going into it with the same kind of mentality."
Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Hélio Castroneves, Kelly Monaco, and Sabrina Bryan will also compete on the All-Stars edition of the show.
"Dancing With the Stars" All-Stars premieres on September 24th on ABC.
