Demi Lovato Loves Wilmer Valderrama More Than Scandal's Olivia Loves Fitz

In what is both a cute sentiment and a curious analogy, Demi Lovato tweeted that her love for longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama is greater than the love shared between Scandal's Olivia Pope and Fitz.

Which is very sweet, except for that whole thing -- minor issue, really -- where Fitz is the president (so, Olivia Pope's boss) and married to someone else on the show. Still though! Clearly Lovato is an Olitz 'shipper, so it's a nice thing to say.

"@WValderrama I know this won't mean anything to you but our love is greater than Olivia Pope and Pres. Fitzgerald Grant's," she tweeted.

Lovato and Valderrama have been dating on and off since 2010, and she has publicly credited him with helping her get sober and overcome her struggles with an eating disorder and bipolar disorder.

On Thursday, Lovato announced via People that she was launching a joint campaign with five mental health organizations to encourage people to discuss mental illnesses with their doctors, families, friends, and communities.

"There's so many different ways you can help," Lovato said to People. "I think together as a country we have to step up and we have to do something about this issue that is becoming quite an epidemic."

She described how having Valderrama as part of her support system has really helped her in her recovery.

"He's been so helpful when it comes to being a part of my support group," she said. "He's one of those people who's stuck by my side from day one of me getting help."

Definitely a lot healthier than how Fitz and Olivia get along!
