Cesar Millan helps hyper pooch on 'Leader of the Pack' [Exclusive video]

Cesar Millan is back with an all-new episode of his Nat Geo Wild docu-series "Cesar Millan's Leader of the Pack," which follows Millan as he helps troubled shelter dogs find loving homes. This time he's helping Mambo, an overly hyper 8-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix who barks incessantly and can't seem to focus.

In this exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming episode "Mambo Madness," Millan is introduced to this high-energy pooch whose previous owners couldn't quell his agitated nature or his barking problem. "When you hear a dog barking with that intensity, it's like a 911 call. This guy needs help to the max ASAP," Millan says.

Millan knows Jack Russells are a high-level working breed, and when he sees how Mambo pulls on his leash, he can immediately tell that this little guy is full of pent-up energy. His first test is to see Mambo off-leash navigating a doggy playground. "You get to see how the dog studies the environment. He never, like, really took the time; he was, like, all over the place. … He wants to do everything at once. That's not normal in any dog. We need to do, like, a brain surgery right now."

Next up, Millan sends Mambo off to interact with other dogs so he can assess how this little pup's frantic nature affects his dominance. Introducing him to other canines is a good jumping-off point.

To find out if Millan can work his magic on this bark-happy, hyper Jack Russell mix, tune in to "Cesar Millan's Leader of the Pack: Mambo Madness" on Tuesday, 2/26 at 8 PM on Nat Geo Wild.
