Duggar Parents Apologize for Son’s ‘Mistakes’ in Funny or Die Parody (Video)

While the fate of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” hangs in the balance following the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, Funny or Die has posted a mock apology from the parents of the former Family Research Council executive director.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar sit on a couch and address the camera as they apologize for the “mistakes” of their son’s past. “With more kids than an NBA team, we were bound to have one troubled kid,” Jim Bob Duggar says.

“When Josh was a teenager, he made a mistake,” Michelle says. “He mistaked two girls on their tutus.”

“That’s what we call breasts,” Jim Bob chimed in.

“The point is we handled it, OK?” Michelle continues. “When we were first told about Josh’s mistakes, we did the right thing and we ignored the girl who came forward.

“Here’s the thing: some other girls did come forward, and some of them were our daughters, but honestly, if you ask me which one, I dunno … the brunette with the curly hair?”

We are then treated to several closeups of the Duggars staring psychotically into the camera sporting big, fake Play-Doh smiles.
