One week after “Bates Motel” wrapped its successful frosh season, A&E brought back “The Glades” and “Longmire” to solid numbers Monday night.
Nielsen estimates that the fourth-season premiere of “The Glades” averaged 3.3 million viewers, up a bit from the 3.1 million for both its premiere and finale of last year when the show was also paired with “Longmire,” but on Sunday nights.
“Longmire” opened its second season with 4.3 million viewers, putting it ahead of its series premiere last June (4.15 million) and on par with its finale last August (4.34 million). In adults 18-49, A&E said, the show’s 1.1 million viewers reps a 12% rise from its series premiere.
“Bates Motel,” which skews surprisingly young, wrapped its rookie season with 2.5 million viewers last Monday. But in adults 18-49, its 1.33 million was higher than either of last night’s season premieres.
