"Dexter" star Yvonne Strahovski is getting a lot of attention this month. After her character was written out of Season 7 of "Dexter," it has been revealed that Strahovski will return to the series for its final episodes.

One thing that many Strahovski fans don't realize is that this talented "Dexter" star also has a long history of video game voiceover work. Strahovski provided the voice of Miranda Lawson in "Mass Effect 3," as well as the voice for Aya Brea in the PSP game "The 3rd Birthday."

The video game conference E3 is currently in full swing (this year, the gaming expo runs from June 11-13). In honor of both E3 and Strahovski's imminent return to "Dexter," here's a rundown of other famous TV actresses who have lent their voice to video games.

Hayden Panettiere

One of the titles generating the biggest buzz at E3 this week is "Kingdom Hearts 3," the latest installment of a series that blends Disney characters with Japanese RPG elements.

While it hasn't been confirmed that "Heroes" and "Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere will lend her voice to the game, it's a pretty safe bet that she'll sign on. After all, she's previously played characters like Kairi and Xion in five previous "Kingdom Hearts" titles.

Stana Katic

When she's not dazzling TV fans as Kate Beckett on "Castle," Stana Katic is recording voiceovers for video games. Most recently, she played sultry villainess Talia al Ghul in "Batman: Arkham City."

Gina Torres

Famous for her roles on "Firefly" and "Suits," Gina Torres has actually done a lot of high-profile video game work. She provided the voice for Niobe in "The Matrix Online," a role which she also played in the film trilogy.

More recently, Torres lent her instantly recognizable voice to Wonder Woman in "DC Universe Online," as well as the character Airachnid in "Transformers Prime: The Game." It was announced at this year's E3 that "DC Universe Online" will be available on the PS4, which is great news for next-gen gamers that love Gina Torres.

Tricia Helfer

After making her Cylon model an iconic character on "Battlestar Galactica," Tricia Helfer earned a place in the heart of sci-fi fans everywhere. She then cemented that place by lending her voice to Sarah Kerrigan in the sci-fi strategy game "StarCraft II." She's also provided the voice of EDI in "Mass Effect 3" and Dare in "Halo 3."
