Emmys 2011: 'Glee's' Gwyneth Paltrow Wins Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series

Gwyneth Paltrow picked up the Emmy for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series Saturday for her role in Glee. Paltrow played substitute teacher Holly Holiday in the Fox series on three episodes.

By comparison, Cloris Leachman, who was also nominated in the category, appeared on every episode of Raising Hope.

Paltrow has revisited the Holly Holiday character off camera on multiple occasions during the Glee! concert tour this past year. She has performed in character alongside the Glee touring cast to sing the Cee-Lo Green song "Forget You."
